Helpful tools for a pregnant partner

Hi ladies,

As the title of this topic suggests, I have a few questions about aids for my future (not yet) pregnant partner.

Where can I buy good wheelchairs and walkers? So that my future pregnant partner doesn't have to move around too much or risk falling on her baby bump.

    why would she need this?

Seems unnecessary to me. If she needs this, you'll see it when the time comes, and it'll probably only happen in the second or first trimester of pregnancy. I think your future pregnant partner needs a supportive partner who helps with heavy lifting and, more importantly, has a listening ear when her hormones are all over the place.

    I meant the third trimester.

I think this isn't serious and it's a joke haha

I definitely understand her, and I’m already doing the housework too. I just don’t want her to fall or something, or for her to burn out... I’m quite worried, you know.

You're a sweet but indeed worried partner, but I find that quite adorable!

Where can I buy good wheelchairs and walking frames? So that my future pregnant partner doesn't move too much or risk falling dangerously on her future pregnant belly.

And people actually give serious answers here..
    Sigh

It might sound funny, but I find my partner's concern really sweet!

How do you know this is your partner?
  10. DreamBaby #11

Because he told me he was going to sign up on the forum under the name "MyImmortal", so I'm 100% sure this is my partner.

Hahahaha ahhhh how cute! Now on to that little wonder hihi
  12. Niet te geloven Guest #13

But you don't find this strange at all? Wheelchairs and walkers??
  13. DreamBaby #14

Why would I find that weird? I find his concern cute and sweet!
  14. MamaN #15

Oh, maybe he's looking in the wrong direction, but at least he's not thinking along. Some men just don't do anything at all
  15. MamaN #16

Do you mean he at least thinks along?
  16. DreamBaby #17

That's true. I'm glad to have such a supportive and caring partner. Because then I know at least that I can count on him when I'm actually pregnant.

Well, to be honest, I absolutely love my shower stool. With pelvic instability, it's so much better for me to sit in the shower instead of standing. Even after the birth of my first, I preferred to shower sitting down for the first week. (Then I used a garden chair.) Now I bought a real shower stool at Kruidvat during their clearance sale for 5 euros.

Wheelchairs and walking frames are usually unnecessary. There's no need for them.

I find it weird because it all sounds pretty weird. I even thought it was a joke... I've never seen anyone walking with "walker carts" just for fun because they might fall? This is more sick than cute... But that's what I think.

I'd use "overprotective" instead of "sick." It sounds weird because we know that (hopefully!) it's all unnecessary.
