Pregnancy test

Hi ladies! I'm new on this site.. and had a quick question for you all about the Kruidvat 2-for-5 euro pregnancy test. I bought that test last weekend (on Friday) because I had a suspicion that I might be pregnant. I did the test on Friday afternoon and it stayed negative.. On Saturday morning I took another test and there was a very faint line on it, really faint but still visible, you know.. Now I don't know if that's really positive or just an evaporation line. It is a light pink line though. Who has experience with this or has had something similar with those Kruidvat tests..

    Good experiences with kV 2voor5.
Did you see that line within the "reading time"? Then there's hCG in your body and you're pregnant.

If you saw that line after the reading time, it could be an evaporation line.

If you're unsure, I'd take another test.
The further along in the pregnancy, the more hCG. The clearer the test result.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, it was within the reading time, but it was really a faint line... so I'm still unsure. I'll test again.

I was also doubting during my test.
Then I did the Clearblue "number of weeks test".

    Good luck!

Which Clear Blue did you use that shows that plus sign or the digital one? Hihi thanks!

Oh sorry I read your message too quickly, you've done the weeks test hihi. I saw on your profile that you're 5 weeks? Congratulations!

    Thank you!
    Indeed, the weeks test.
Are you doing that now too?

I think so! Gotta see if it's worth it, I think it's pretty expensive haha..

    Yes, €15,-

Yes exactly.. have you also tried other good pregnancy tests? I'll grab one again tomorrow..

    *pregnancy tests I meant.

You could also wait a few days and then do the Kruidvat 2-for-5 again. I had a faint line too and was really pregnant. I took another test 2 days later, and then another 2 days after that, and the line really got thicker each time. I think those other tests are way too expensive.

@amy yeah that's also a good idea to do that. I find other tests too expensive too.. But with the one from Kruidvat you sometimes get those weird lines where you don't know if it's positive or not..

My profile picture is the first test I did. Also a very faint line. I only ever got lines when I was actually pregnant. Never false alarms.

Yeah exactly, I’ve taken this test before and never got a line (so not pregnant), but now I got a very faint line... it makes me a bit unsure if it’s positive or not! So I’ll take another one tomorrow.

I used Kruidvat 2v5, Action test (1.79), and Clearblue.
    All positive
But I was mainly curious about the number of weeks.
By the way, I didn't do that with my first pregnancy. Just one test. Done.

    Now I've done 5 tests

Haha, wow, 5 tests left! I don't know if Action tests are good; I've read a lot of stories saying they're bad. But you can always try, and they're cheap too! Before I know it, I'll be at 5 tests too!
  17. Femia #18

Yeah, mixed stories about the Action test. The one from Kruidvat tested positive for NO. The one from Action only 1 day after NO.

Yes exactly.. I'm going to pick up another one tomorrow, so I'm so curious and hopefully a clearer line!
