Baby wish
Egg donation
Hello everyone,
Because getting pregnant isn't always straightforward for everyone, I'd like to shed some light on this here.
And the waiting lists for egg donors last for years!
Unfortunately, last year we heard that I had entered early menopause.
My egg supply is, in short, depleted.
This was a huge shock for us because we have a strong desire for children.
We are a 33-year-old couple, and this diagnosis casts a shadow over our happiness.
Egg donation is our last option to have a "biological" child.
The waiting lists are extremely long, lasting several years.
At one clinic it's 2 years, and at another hospital 8 to 10 years.
So there is a huge shortage of egg donors!
The goal of this topic is to raise more awareness for egg donation and that maybe there are angels on this forum or in your surroundings who can make
the biggest wish come true for many women!
Wishing them the happiness and experience of having a child of their own.
Across the Netherlands, there are hospitals and clinics where you can donate eggs.
If you become an egg donor, you provide healthy, unfertilized eggs to women who do not produce eggs themselves or whose eggs are not suitable.
Thanks to the donated eggs, these women can still become pregnant.
The eggs are frozen and stored in the egg bank.
We are in talks with Nij Geertgen in Elsendorp (for example, in the municipality of Gemert)
We hope to get on the waiting list by the end of April.

If you have a donor, for example, you don't have to wait on the waiting list until it's your turn.
