Hesitating about a boy's name

My husband and I are crazy about the name Blake and thought we had it figured out. But now I have serious doubts because of the same pronunciation and meaning 'pale' in Dutch.
What do you think? The second name would be Maeven.

I pronounce Blake differently than 'bleak', so I don't personally see the issue. If you think it's a beautiful name, I'd definitely choose it! -

Blake is a nice name, but I understand your doubts. You could also go with Maeven as the first name, that's also super cute. And then Blake as the second name.
