Missed ovulation

Hi hi,

I've been reading along on this forum for a while!
But now I'm really confused myself.
The thing is, I haven't felt my ovulation this month, so I don't know when my period is due. Normally I have a 30-day cycle, but last time I was two days late before my period started. On Wednesday I took a MatCare Ultra test, which can be used 6 days before your period, and it was light positive! This morning I took an Action test and there was no second line. I don't know what to believe. Hope someone can help me.

Greetings, Flora

I'd test again if you're 2 days overdue. One test needs a lower hormone concentration than the other. This also gives your body a chance to produce enough hormones if it's a hit. Good luck!

    super sweet that you replied,
I just don't know when I need to test, which makes it all more difficult.
I'm wondering why I got a line on the mattcare and not on the actiontest? A line is a line, right?

What cycle day are you on now? If I were you, I’d take another test in a few days. If it shows a faint line again, just head to the GP for a blood test. Good luck!

Well, it finally broke through, so today was my period! I got my period and I'm really upset, I'm so sad. I really thought I was pregnant. I know there are ladies who take longer, but I think three months is already a long time. I'm afraid it might take months for me too! So I want to start taking vitamins and minerals right away. Has anyone had experience with that?

    Love,

Hi Flora! That sucks for you to have missed your period and everyone knows that feeling! Whether you've been trying for a short time or not, if it doesn't work out, it's just frustrating!

Were you on the pill before? The most important thing is to get a good understanding of your cycle. You can track your temperature, use ovulation tests, check your discharge, and keep an eye on the position of your cervix. All these things can help you get to know your cycle and find your egg if you don't feel it clearly. It's not necessary, but it can help. And then have sex every other day, that gives you the best chance. But it remains a little miracle, so it's okay to hope a bit. Good luck, dear, and don't panic!

There's plenty of vitamins! Just take a look in the aisle when you're doing your shopping later, it can't hurt!

Flora, I started taking folic acid 3 months before I stopped the pill.
At first, my cycle was still fairly regular, but I never felt my ovulation (no idea what that feels like ) Since my cycles have become more and more irregular over the last few months, we started using ClearBlue ovulation tests (the digital ones) 3 months ago. These are supposed to show the 2 most fertile days, but for me, it was always just 1 day from month 1 onwards...

But after the 2nd month of using these tests, it finally happened, and we're now about 5-6 weeks pregnant.
We've been trying for a total of 11 months.
