Is there a chance of pregnancy or not?

Good morning!
I have a question. In December 2014 I stopped taking the contraceptive pill because I wanted children. My period didn't start again until October 2015, but luckily it came back very regular. Unfortunately, nothing happened, even though we already have two kids and they were conceived in no time.
My cycle has always been 24-26 days (it was like that before I started the pill either). Last cycle I got normal period symptoms around day 24, like swollen breasts, a bloated belly, and being very irritable. But no period by day 30! So I was already 4 days late. It was Sunday and I planned to get a test on Monday. Unfortunately, I got cramps and bleeding in the afternoon anyway. The tension in my breasts also disappeared immediately.
The strange thing is, that from Tuesday (so 2 days) the bleeding stopped, while my period usually lasts 4-5 days. Now, a week and a half later, I still have that tight feeling in my lower abdomen as if I'm about to get my period. I don't understand anything anymore. My breasts are just normal, and that was always my most prominent pregnancy symptom in the first trimester.
Should I go get a test anyway? I'm abroad and can't just pop over to the GP or anything. I really have to make an effort to go. Going to a doctor is also quite a big undertaking here.
A bleed on day 30 (4 days late) can't be implantation bleeding, right? I thought maybe an early miscarriage. But is it normal to still have that unpleasant feeling in your lower abdomen for so long? Does anyone have experience with this?

Greetings,

Toetje

    Hi Toetje,

It actually sounds a bit like an early miscarriage. I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and also had abdominal pain for 4 weeks.

    How are you doing now?

The swollen feeling lasted almost until I got my period again on day 26. Since then, I've been back to "normal"... On to round 14...
