who can understand me?

hi everyone, i've been having a really hard time lately because i feel like no one understands me, especially my husband. i went to my gynecologist today and i'm almost 22 weeks along, but she told me that my cervix has shortened a bit. she said it's not a huge risk for the baby being born early, but it is a risk for after pregnancy. my pelvic floor muscles will weaken a lot if i don't take care and rest more. i also have two kids who really demand a lot from me, and i don't have family nearby. my husband keeps nagging that the housework isn't done, etc. i can take care of the kids, but i get sooo tired, and we always have disagreements. he always has something to say about everything, and it really stresses me out a lot. does anyone know how i should handle this? it's really hard, i really need some rest...

    Hi Aicha,

    I see that a lot is going on around me too. Luckily, I have a wonderful man, but I see a lot of misunderstanding. What you definitely need to do is make it clear to your man that he really needs to take you into account more.

    I can say that easily enough, and of course you've already tried, but you still need to make it clear somehow. Preferably not when you're already angry or tired and arguing, but when he's relaxed, you can just tell him what you just wrote here. Make it clear to him that he needs to adjust his expectations for the next 18 weeks and the months after the birth, and that he will need to pitch in himself.

    @Aicha,

    Just like Olivia Anna says, and as I already mentioned in the thread "Who's having a boy in November." Get your gynecologist involved. Don't wait, just do it, trust your gut, don't let them get to you, think about your baby.

    Love, Ju

    P.S. Take it easy!!!!
