Positive or not..

Hi! I'm new here, so I hope I'm posting in the right place
I've had the Mirena for a year now and sometimes I do a test just to be sure. Now I've taken this one... What do you think?

    I see.
Exciting!!! Did you do the morning urine test? Otherwise, try again in 2 days. Good luck

    Thanks for your message, vlinder87!
No, I tested in the afternoon around 4 PM. I'll go pick up another test tomorrow anyway

That's positive!! It started the same way for me But you still have the Mirena?

Yes, I still have the Mirena, indeed..

I see a second line too! But why are you taking a test? I assume it's not what you're hoping for, and that's probably why you're not expecting it. Did you have any symptoms or something that made you doubt?

Oh, so you just went right through it then

Yeah, a bit silly, but since my period completely stopped with the Mirena, I occasionally do a test just to be sure

Did you also have a kv 2v5?

Are you happy about it? Because then I'll congratulate you

Well, it wasn't really the plan, but if it turns out that way, the baby is very welcome!

Congratulations, girl!! I also had those tests, and they don't lie. Otherwise, they stay bone white, right?

Hey, I’d still get the doctor informed!!!
I had the Mirena for years and was told back then that there’s always a risk of ectopic pregnancy, and that the chance is higher than with a healthy pregnancy!
I’m obviously hoping it’s not the case for you, but I’d still recommend getting it checked as soon as possible.

Sorry for the late reply! I tested again and got the exact same faint line. Then I spoke to my GP, and I need to wait a bit longer since the lines are still light; it's possible that the Mirena is still doing its job. If I experience pain, I should call right away, and I'll take another test in two days to see if I haven't started bleeding by then.

But do you want the Mirena to terminate the pregnancy? Otherwise, I'd have it removed urgently!
