Just got home from work and had to pee right away, and I see brown blood in my underwear. Is this normal?? I wiped with toilet paper and now there's nothing more. Hope it stays that way.

    No idea, girl. I don't have any experience with that myself. I hope not for you in advance. Keep your fingers crossed!
    If you're unsure, maybe it's a good idea to check with the doctor or gynecologist.

    Brown blood is old blood, probably from implantation.

    No, I don't think so. A little bit of brown blood is probably implantation bleeding indeed. I understand you're really startled, but it's probably nothing.

    @Fie,
    Brown blood is probably implantation bleeding. But how many weeks are you around 6 or 7 weeks?? I don't see it in your profile..

    Love Ju

    Hi hi, I don’t think so either; it’s usually old blood. I’m having the same thing now and I also assume it’s old blood because last month I had an early miscarriage and there was no brown blood at all, only clear and a lot. I didn’t have cramps either, but it was still a miscarriage.

    But I’m crossing my fingers for you too and hope it stays like this and that you’ll be able to admire your baby in a while. I don’t know how much longer you have to wait, but if I understand correctly, you’re still in the early stages.

    Greetings and love, Bianca

    @ju I'm now 6 weeks

    @bianca I'm now 6 weeks pregnant. I hope this is normal. I was hoping it was implantation bleeding and I hope that's what it is. I don't have any discomfort, just occasional little twinges, which I think are in the womb. And the brown blood has also stopped for a little while since last night

    If you don't trust it yourself, I'd just call the midwife!

    Hey,
    I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant and had serious bleeding from 8 to 12 weeks, which meant I had to lie flat for 3 weeks.
    Brown blood is DEFINITELY old blood, probably implantation bleeding.
    Greetings

    Hi Fie, how are you doing now? Did you still have any bleeding?

    Love and hugs from Bianca

    It could also be 'old blood' as they call it. Once it becomes bright red and increases in amount, I think you should start worrying. Good luck and keep us updated!!

    Hi Bianca, I don't have any more bleeding. It wasn't much, actually. I hope it stays okay now. Greetings, Fie

    Hey Sarah, everything's fine. I think it had to do with implantation. Greetings, Fie

    @Shanna,
    No heartbeat at 6 weeks, I know that the heart was beating during my first check-up, and that was around 6 weeks..
    I don't know what it means, but if you're not under care and you're really worried, I'd suggest calling your midwife or gynecologist if I were you.

    Anyway, lots of strength..

    Best, Ju

    @Fie,
    So you're about 12 weeks and 4 days now, how are you doing with your pregnancy?
    Do you already have any idea what you're having and how is your environment reacting?

    Love, Ju

    @ju I had surgery for an ectopic pregnancy at 8 weeks. I had old blood loss, and apparently, this wasn't a good sign—it wasn't implantation bleeding, which I thought it was. I didn't call the gynecologist, and this could have gone badly. My fallopian tube was removed because it was damaged. There's still an 80% chance I can get pregnant again, so that's quite a lot. Hopefully, it works out after this one miscarriage. In this case, I have a check-up in mid-September. Greetings, Fie.

    hey mamas, good news! I went to the doctor, couldn't wait until Tuesday, and there's a heartbeat! I'm so happy I cried tears of relief.
    A miscalculation in weeks, well, it does startle you though. Big hug Shanna

    Hi Ju, that's really tough to hear, but there's still that 80%
    Some women have fewer and have 2 or 3 kids, hopefully this helps you a bit through your tough time, but don't lose hope xxxxxx

    How far along are you? It could actually be implantation bleeding... There's a lot to read about bleeding online, and in many cases, it was implantation bleeding! Hang in there! I hope it turns out to be nothing serious for you!
