Pregnant or not

Hi ladies,

I'm Sanne and new here.
I'm on the fence, last month I stopped the pill to get pregnant.
I've stopped the pill before and then I had a 22-day cycle. Now my last period was on July 26.
No more pill since then.
A few days later I had stomach pain like I was about to get my period. A sore feeling that lasted for 8 days. Meanwhile I've been doing a lot of DIY with my boyfriend. A few days ago I got the feeling my period was coming, so I put in a pad and only saw a few drops of blood. And it was gone after a day. I also took a test twice and it was negative. Tomorrow I should technically be late for my 22-day cycle but no period feeling.
I am a bit nauseous sometimes but I'm also taking antibiotics so that could be side effects too.

Who relates to this? Or has advice?

X Sanne

It can just take longer this time for your cycle to return to normal. Just because it was like that last time doesn't mean it'll be the same this time, unfortunately.
The symptoms of ovulation are similar to those of pregnancy. Since your tests are negative, you can only wait and see when your period will come.

    Hang in there mama,

It's possible your cycle is longer than before. I think the pain you felt and the bleeding you describe could be an implantation bleed. If that's the case, you can't test positive yet! Take another test next week and wait and see ;-)

    Hi Mellie and Gast,

    Thanks for your replies.
I’ve done a test by now, like 6 times because I couldn’t believe my eyes.
And I’m pregnant with my 2nd baby... So happy!

Hi, my due date is August 25th (Thursday). I did an early test this morning from kV, unfortunately negative! When did you test? Anyway, congratulations on your pregnancy!

    Hey Maantje,
If you test too early (even with an early test), the chance of a negative result is much higher! I’d recommend testing again if you go past your due date, then you’ll be sure.
Some women do well with this kind of test because they start producing a lot of HCG right away and can test positive earlier, but most women only start producing it on the day they’re supposed to get their period.
    Greetings
