    Thanks for your reply! It's a French name. I came across it. It's not given very often, according to SVB :10 per year, approximately.

    Pronunciation: Ie-vun, I guess?
    I think it's quite nice, just needs a bit of getting used to.

    I do say Ie-vun indeed. No idea what the exact French pronunciation is... probably something like or more like ie-ven. But I saw in the name meaning that it's a French name, hence ;-)

    I know a Yven, same pronunciation, just with a Y. I think it sounds nice!

    Our son is named Iven, he's 15 now, and we still think it's a lovely name.

    We pronounce it like Sven, but with an IE sound, so IE-VEN.

    We've only ever received positive reactions, it's uncommon but simple.
