Rivás or Leonardo?

Only 3 months left!! Time flies so fast..! I’ve finally narrowed my endless list down to 2 names!

Rivás Maita and Leonardo Maita

I think Rivás is quite hip and sporty, while Leonardo feels more classic and artistic. The middle name Maita is because the father is from Zimbabwe and I want to honor that side of his culture; it means "Thank you".

Which one do you like better or think is better? And why? Thanks in advance! x

I think Rivas is nicer, Leonardo sounds very romantic to me.. I prefer something more rugged as long as it's pronounceable!

I think Rivás is much prettier, especially because I associate Leonardo with DiCaprio.
I do wonder if I like the hyphen after the e. For some reason, I pronounce it as Rivas and not as Rivaas (as I think you mean).

    But it's a lovely name!

I'll also go for Rivas and then without a hyphen (so no Rivaas) nice name!

I like Rivas, though I’d pronounce it with the stress on the first syllable (and that’s how I’d say it too, I think it sounds the best). For me, Leonardo is too strongly associated with DiCaprio and da Vinci.
