Hi everyone,

I’ve got something weighing on my mind. I’m probably overthinking it, but I really need to get it off my chest and hope you’ll want to share your thoughts.

I found out last week (when I unexpectedly came home early) that my boyfriend watches porn. At first, I thought it was really bad, but then I thought, he’s a healthy young man, and I’m actually glad he watches porn instead of hooking up with another girl.

We were planning to start trying for a second baby in a couple of months. But yesterday, he brought up that he wants a second child in 1.5 years... This worries me a bit, especially in connection with him watching porn.
He knows I’d rather start trying for a second baby now.

Am I overreacting? I definitely want to have a conversation about this. I just want to calmly understand his perspective before I “attack” him with it.

Looking forward to your replies!! Help!!!

    What I'm actually asking is,
Am I imagining things or am I right to worry?
    How would you handle it?

I think almost every man watches porn; the difference is whether he does it secretly.
Now, no man would put on a hpt while guests are over but indeed, at the moment when there's an opportunity.

What are his reasons for going for a second baby in 1.5 years?
Is he not ready yet? Does he want to enjoy the three of you first?
Is he between jobs or waiting for a permanent position?
Are there maybe debts or amounts he wants to pay off first?

Does it reassure you that he watches porn instead of another girl? Porn may be accepted, but he's watching other people having sex... that goes much further, in my opinion, than just looking at another girl once. Watching porn always has to do with emptiness that needs to be filled, in my opinion. I wouldn't accept it... but well, I might sound old-fashioned now, but it's not nothing if one of the two in a relationship watches porn. I see it as a form of infidelity. Talk to him and express your concerns!
