I personally think Cilou is really beautiful. I'm also torn between the names: Cilou or Alixe.

I think Cleo is cool too!!

Maybe Chloe is also something for you?

Thanks, ladies! I really appreciate your feedback.
My husband came up with a few more options yesterday:
Elisa or Eliza - doesn't that sound a bit like the very popular Elise? Or Elsa from Frozen?
Charlize - we both thought it was beautiful, but I'm afraid it'll get shortened to Char?

    And
Chloe - we considered it, but it's quite common. Is there a risk that Cleo will always have to spell out her name because there are so many Chloes?

By the way, do you have any negative or positive associations with the names I've already mentioned, or are they easy to tease? Cleo, Cilou, Clementien, Ellerose... And the new Elisa/Eliza or Charlize? Feel free to be honest because we'd rather know now than later

With Cleo, I wouldn't know if it's a boy or a girl when I hear the name. I do think the sound is really nice.
Cilou isn't my style. I think Lou is a beautiful sound, but Ci isn't. I think Philou or Lilou are nicer.
I've never heard of Elrose before, but I think it's a beautiful sound. It sounds chic and lovely. And I also think that not hearing the name often is an advantage of this name.
Elle-Rose also sounds nice, but in my opinion it's just a bit too long. Then Elrose sounds nicer.
I think Eliza or Elisa are beautiful. Indeed less common than Elise. I still think Elsa is a super cute name, nicer than Elisa. I think a girl will only like being named after a princess and everyone knows your name.
I don't think Charlize is very nice. Charlotte is. Charlize sounds a bit made-up to me.

My preference goes to Elrose or Elsa.
Good luck with choosing the name!

Personally, I find Cleo and Clementien to have a bit harsh a sound, so I don’t think they’re that beautiful. I wouldn’t really go for the 'k' sound myself.

I can’t quite place Elrose. The name doesn’t quite flow so well (but that might just be me). I think Elle-Rose is nicer, but Ella-Rose is even better.

I really think Lou is a top name (it was on my list), and Cilou is also quite nice, but I’d have to get used to it.

And I also think Elsa is nicer than Elisa. Elisa is a fine name, but for some reason, it feels a bit average to me. I can’t really describe it better. It’s a safe choice and not very sparkling, I think.

I think Charlize is really beautiful, but I don’t know how you’d pronounce it? Sjarlies or Tjarlies or...? I have no idea if it would be shortened. I have a name that’s easy to shorten, but nobody does it anyway (only my parents, and I can tell they do it ).

So all in all, I think Cilou, Ellerose, and Charlize are the most beautiful. Softer sounds than Cleo/Chloë/Clementien, but still a bit spicy/quirky.

But, tastes differ greatly, of course. So I don’t know if I’ve helped you with this.

Personally, I find Eliza the nicest. This was one of the names (or Eliz as another form) we thought of, but unfortunately, an acquaintance was quicker than us.

I think Cleo is really beautiful.
I like Elle Rose, but I like Cleo more.

I think Clementine is the least appealing. It reminds me of mandarins.
Cleo is nice, Charlize is the most beautiful (pronounced: Charlieze).

Of all the names on your original list, I think Cleo is the prettiest.
Elrose sounds weird to me. Clementien and Clementine aren’t really my taste either.
Elle-Rose and Cilou are okay, though I’m not really into double names.

I think Elisa is beautiful. I don’t see any resemblance to Elsa at all. It’s more like Elise, but is that really a problem?
Charlize looks nice too, although almost every name gets shortened these days...

I don’t think you’d have any spelling issues with Cleo, since it’s clearly a different name.
It would’ve been confusing if you’d put an h in there like with Chloe—Chleo, that would definitely be misleading.
