Associations for girls' names

Hi,

What associations do you have with the girl's name Skout/Scout?
It's a fairly unknown name and of course unique. But it also fits well with the boys' names. And yes.. it rhymes with "stout", but how many kids are named Stijn and that rhymes with "pain"..

I'd love to hear your associations.

    My association: scouting.
    I find the name quite hard and cold (especially with the K). I picture a strong woman. It's definitely a name for someone in a leadership role.
    If you think it's beautiful: go for it!

    I did a quick Google search because I wondered why I was thinking of Talulah, but now I see that Demi Moore's daughters are named Tallulah and Scout Willis (+ another daughter Rumer).

    I had never heard of it before either, but I also find it quite cool and harsh.
    Personally, I don't like it.

    I like him! But yeah, I love unique names.
    I'm thinking of a real tomboy, who doesn't fall short for the boys and kicks the ball just as easily.

    Girls are also called Loes, which can be rhymed with at all ages.
    From Roomsoes in elementary school, to Natte poes during student days.

    Stout might also be associated with sexuality around puberty, so keep that in mind.

    Besides that, I think it's a really cool name! I also see a bit of the tomboy type in it.
