Uma or Elif
what do you think of these? I'm curious.. keeping it a secret for now

    Hi
    I think it's a Turkish name
    but then you pronounce it as uliv
    I think the pronunciation as elif is nicer so then it just becomes that haha
    nice right?
    it does mean slender or slim though
    we'll have to wait and see about that hihi:0

    we also think una is very nice
    uma is pronounced as oema
    it's an Indian name

    Yeah, it's indeed a beautiful name, Elif. Lovely sound.
    I thought it was Jewish. I should look it up..
    For me, it has to have a bit of "How? Say that again? That's special!"
    Then you've got a good name!! (And meaning is important to me)

    I also made a topic to find out if it was okay and got some good feedback.
    That gives some reassurance, doesn't it!

    Yeah, it's nice to get some kind of confirmation, hehe... all that secrecy stuff... I'm not really that good at it, haha... but I'm trying to keep it in haaha. And what did your own name end up being, by the way?

    Well, with me it was basically impossible to keep the secret. The gynecologist let it slip—she’s a total blabbermouth!!
    But for the family, I’ll still try to keep the name secret (if I manage it ):
    The first name was my husband’s choice—he wouldn’t let it go!!! And the second name is from my Filipino sister, whom I haven’t seen since I was 6..

    I get it, a bit of a weird guy that gynecologist too... always weird types, right? Hihi And we're still not decided on a name... I still think both are beautiful....
