Hi,

My partner and I are expecting our first baby (a boy). We already have a name in mind, but we're not sure which looks better when written down. We hope you can help us out.

Which sounds/looks better:

Sep
Sepp

September..why would you want to use 2 'p's?

My neighbor boy is named Seb, maybe that's an option too? I think both Sepp and Sep sound nice, but the name Finn is spelled with double n. I also think Sepp with double p sounds nice!

It could be either! Personally, I'd go with: Sep

By chance; we have the same question if it's a boy; I was going with Sep with 1 P and my husband thought of Sepp.
Now we've had doubts about the name since yesterday because if the baby comes early then it's in September so maybe weird, we found Peppe now, also derived from Joseph. That name seems a bit more cheerful but still takes some getting used to.
I'm curious what your final choice will be.

    I think Sepp looks nicer!

Although I’m usually not a fan of unnecessary letters, I still think Sepp looks nicer in this case.
(And for butterfly: I think Peppe is nice too!)

I think Sepp looks nicer, it just feels more complete somehow. Nice name, by the way!
(@Vlinder: I think Peppe is also a nice name! I know a Jeppe, maybe you might like that too?)

I think Sepp is more beautiful.

I would choose a different name.

Sep/Sepp is such a beautiful and cheerful name! I don't have a preference. I like both!
And butterfly! I think Peppe is also a great name!

What a lovely name! I'd write it as Sep, but I think Sepp looks nice too.
