Niels or Bent?

Hi! It's almost time and I keep doubting! The more elegant name Niels or the more rugged name Bent? A third alternative to avoid having to choose between those two just won't come up. So please tell me your preference between those two names and why one works and the other doesn't.

    I like them both a lot.
    I’d personally go with Bent.
    Niels, you hear it so often, I think.
    Bent is a name you don’t hear every day, and I find it cool, edgy, and sweet all at the same time

    It’s tough to choose, huh?

    I'd go for Niels. It's a nice name that everyone knows, but not very common. I think Bent is also cool, but it looks a lot like Brent. I think that might cause confusion, whereas you don't have that with Niels. But you have to choose, not me!

    Niels is a name that's really common (here) and I personally find it a bit less special.
    Recently, someone in my circle had a 'Niel' born, which I find fresher.

    But as I said, that's personal : )
