11 weeks pregnant!!!

Hi there,

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and going to see my OB-GYN tomorrow. Between weeks 11 and 13, they do a combined test, which includes a blood test and a nuchal translucency scan. I'm a bit curious how it works—has anyone had this test done yet?

Best wishes

I got the nuchal translucency scan with the 12-week 4D ultrasound. Hopefully, you get that too, because I was sitting there with my mouth open in amazement.
You could basically look at the baby from all angles—it really felt like a full-blown baby already!! Fantastic.
The nuchal translucency measurement doesn’t really involve much; they literally measure the little neck, which you can see on the screen, and it’s done in just a few seconds.
Next time you visit the OB-GYN, you’ll get the results. (Mine was normal.)

I refused all the other tests, just like Ju, because those tests do come with some risks!

Let me know how it went, okay!! Good luck! X

Ladies, I'm now 11 weeks pregnant, and on Thursday I have my 2nd ultrasound. Anyone else around 11 weeks pregnant?

I had a question: how many mm is the baby at about 11 weeks pregnant??
  4. Ash Guest #5

@Mar, I’m exactly 11 weeks today. I had my first ultrasound when I was 10 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and the baby was 3.89 cm at that time. Add a bit more, because it’s growing so fast now!

I'm now 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant... I'm getting the ultrasound next Wednesday! I already had one at 8 weeks, and it looked good, but it's still nerve-wracking.

Ami, exciting, right! I'm also 10 weeks and 2 days today. We're having the next ultrasound on Monday. The previous one was at 6 weeks and 5 days, and the little heart was beating. But we still find it absolutely terrifying! I'm glad it's almost time.
Let me know next week how it went, okay?

    Hi Molly
Wow, what a coincidence—we're both exactly the same length into our pregnancies... hahaha! I can imagine it's exciting. I can hardly wait either, but it's coming up fast, so before you know it, it'll be Monday for you and Wednesday for me :-)
    Is this your first baby?
    Best wishes

    Ami,
it's our first baby, yes! Is it yours too?
Tomorrow is finally Monday. And then you won't have to wait so long either.
I'll let you know tomorrow how it went. Will you do the same on Wednesday?
    Love

Oh, that's really exciting... We have a 5-year-old daughter.
Indeed, just one more night to sleep and then it's time. Good luck tomorrow, but expect everything to go well!! That's right, I only have 2 more days... they'll be gone in no time...
Have a nice evening!! And let me know how it went.
    Greetings,
    Ami

Our ultrasound was amazing! We're 5 days further along than they thought. So now 11 weeks and 3 days. By Saturday we'll be safely into the 12-week mark. I'm so happy about that! Everything was there. Little feet, little hands, and even two brain hemispheres! ;-)!
  11. Ami #12

Ok, that's really nice to hear. Super good news then... Enjoy it especially now!!
I have to wait until tomorrow, so it's still a bit suspenseful for me. Let me know tomorrow, okay? :-)
    Have a nice evening.

    Greetings,
    Ami

Good luck today! Hope you get a beautiful ultrasound just like we did!
  13. Ami #14

I had a really nice ultrasound. Everything was in place. It was a busy little one, spinning around and kicking its legs the whole time. Beautiful to see. It’s reassuring that everything’s fine... totally happy.
    I’m now 11 weeks and 4 days.
    Here’s to a lovely pregnancy....
    How are you feeling otherwise!?
  14. Kelly #15

Oh good to hear! Yeah, it's great to have that confirmation, right? And your first 12 weeks are almost over too!
I'm feeling a little better every day. Still a bit nauseous, but I'm trying to keep my food down a bit better again ;-).
  15. Kelly #16

And you? Still dealing with any complaints?
  16. Ami #17

    Hi Molly,
Yeah, still dealing with nausea and fatigue, but it's getting better. I've got almost all of autumn break... just two more weeks of work. I'm already counting down hahaha
Sleeping in and having nothing to do! Are you off too!?
    Greetings,
    Ami

Oh, nice! I can imagine you're ready for a vacation! I don't have a job, so I'm off anyway. And honestly, I don't feel bad at all right now. I go to bed super early and don't get out of bed until late in the morning. And still, I'm tired!

I'll be 11 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Next week I'm going back for the ultrasound and blood tests. I really want to see my baby again and I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to watch with papa.
