I'm really curious what others think of the name Elle.
Do you find it sweet or more bold? Old-fashioned or modern?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!!

Oh... I'd go with either Ellen or Ella.
The name itself is probably a bit old-fashioned but not weird. I think it's nice.

I think it's beautiful, but you do have to think about the magazine a bit. How do you want to pronounce it, really as Elle or as El?
  3. Nannie ❤ #4

I think it's a nice name, quite neutral.

You just pronounce it in the Dutch way: Elle, so.

    Ellen?

No, definitely not Ellen. I find it a bit too ordinary...
You hear Elle much less often.
But when you hear the name Elle, does it sound tough? Sweet? Old-fashioned? Trendy? Or none of these?

I find it neutral, so none of them.

Or rather, a bit of everything

Ellen is old-fashioned, Elle is sweet and tough.

With an Elle, I picture a strong, independent girl/woman who is also very sweet (or can be????). A girl with spirit!

I find Elle beautiful, strong, feminine, and also nice for an adult.
Maybe a bit awkward in France, but that wouldn't be a reason not to go for it.
