Hi everyone,
My name is Kevin. My girlfriend and I want kids, so I'll get straight to the point.
However, she always takes the pregnancy test on the same day or 1 day after we've had sex.
From my modest research, the test is then very unreliable, basically just guessing, since
there will be very little to no hormones detected. Still, she said the test was positive.
Is this possible within 24 hours? Or is the test just giving her false hope with nothing there? That would be pretty upsetting for me.

Hi Kevin, I don't know how serious you are, but you can't take a pregnancy test right after having sex.
Assuming you're serious.. you can only take a test 14 days after ovulation.
Are you aware of that?
So first your girlfriend needs to ovulate before fertilization can happen.
If I were you, I'd read up on the subject of getting pregnant together with your girlfriend
