Pregnancy tests, ovulation and ovulation tests
The pregnancy test result is making me feel insecure.

Hi ladies...
Normally I'm not quick to ask a question on a forum, but this time I'm so unsure and confused that I'm giving it a shot anyway...
Here's my story in brief:
Last period: 5 days late, then I got a light bleed that didn't look like my period at all... I also had some vague early pregnancy symptoms...
Because of the bleeding, I stopped thinking about a possible pregnancy since a test told me I wasn't pregnant.... Now, I should have gotten my period again about 5 days ago.... I took another test last night with a Clearblue digital.... It quickly said 'pregnant'...
I was so happy about that... Today I thought I'd play it safe and do the other test I still had lying around, too... And again: 'pregnant'....
Since I'm confused about the previous 'missed' period, I wanted to know how long I'd already been pregnant.... So I quickly went to the pharmacy to get another Clearblue digital with the indication feature....
Now I do that test and it now shows a -, negative, so.... This is really driving me crazy....
I've already booked an appointment with my GP for next Friday... We're leaving on a trip on Saturday too... I really can't relax while living in this uncertainty...
Has anyone else had a situation like this?

Hi,
I’ve experienced something similar before.
I took a pregnancy test that was positive at first.
And I even had implantation bleeding... but then my period started anyway.
Or a test being positive one day and negative the next...
I don’t know if you just stopped the pill... that can make periods lighter and irregular, and cycles longer... I’ve had that too.
But it might be a good idea to see your GP; maybe a blood test can clarify things.
My last "period" was also weird, only lasted 2 days... very light pink/red blood, very watery, not much bleeding... so it stopped after 2 days, nothing for a day, and then after peeing a few times I had brown discharge when wiping, so I’m not sure about that either...
