I'm now 25 weeks and 1 day pregnant with our second little boy, and I already have a son, Jeremy, born on September 3, 2010! He's already reacting so sweetly, like pointing to my belly and saying "baby" or "little one," giving kisses and hugs How do your kids experience the second pregnancy and the arrival of a brother or sister

My daughter loves it! She helps us pick names (in her own way) and choose baby stuff... She's so sweet..
We made a calendar together on Thursday showing how many nights her little sister has to sleep before she arrives... Every night she picks a number (day)..
She chooses pacifiers and bottles... She also keeps coming along to the gynecologist appointments...
We really involve her in everything....

All in all, she thinks it's super!

My son is almost 6 years old and of course already at school. He tells everyone he meets! He recently went to the prenatal ultrasound... what a proud boy! He also picks out little items he likes for his upcoming little brother.

We have a 10-year-old daughter and a son who's almost 8. They love it! In the evenings, when I tuck our little guy into bed and say goodbye at school, both the baby and I get a hug and a kiss. Our daughter asks a hundred times and is eager to go shopping with me next week for the baby (with a bit of luck, we'll know on Tuesday if we're having a boy or a girl!). Both kids have already been to the UK, and on August 1st, we can even go together as a family of four.

As a family of four, we're thinking of names and writing down the ones we all like.

We intentionally had our daughter and son close together (and I have absolutely no regrets about that!), but I have to say I find the situation now really special. The kids are consciously experiencing the arrival of their brother/sister.

That's so sweet of you about your daughter!
But she's already a bit older, I guess?
We also involve our son everywhere and he loves helping with everything
Hahaha, except for the name, because then he'd probably scream Bumba or Hoela Hoep XD

Yesss, it's totally fun for him, of course he's fully aware of it
But it can also be super difficult at that age, I read! You can enjoy it more like this

It's so nice that you can just do that with your 4 kids, right? I miss that a bit because you're not yet SO aware of it!
Well, Lucas (the baby in mom's belly) is also getting lots of kisses and hugs now, and he can feel when Lucas kicks by putting his head on my belly!

My 15-year-old daughter is thrilled to finally become a big sister.
My boyfriend's son is 9 and he's happy about it too, but he's mostly interested in his football.
My daughter and I have already put the bags with baby stuff on the bed a few times and she's been admiring them.
I have to say it's really special to share this with my daughter!

    Hi Dani,

I’d love to share that with my daughter too, but since I don’t have one yet, I can’t do that either. Maybe SEO will bring some clarity :-) hihi. Can I share things with my daughter too..

I think it’s super nice that you can share it with your daughter..

    Love, Ju
