A little bit of blood & implantation bleeding

Hi ladies,

I'm 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant and had some implantation bleeding for 1.5 days before the test. This morning, I noticed a little light pink blood/discharge when I peed. I've also been having some stomach discomfort all day. Who else had implantation bleeding before the test and a little bit after? I'm so scared something's wrong

I’ve been through it for about 7 weeks, I was so scared and cried so hard. In the end, everything turned out fine, and my little boy just turned 1.

Yeah, pretty crazy, right? Super glad it went well for you!

I was at the urgent care clinic last night because my stomach pain had gotten really bad, and I was a bit worried about an ectopic pregnancy, especially since I’m already 39. But it’s too early for an internal ultrasound—they wouldn’t see anything yet. The midwife had told the doctor that after discussing it, it could also be a second implantation, meaning the embryo was implanting better. This morning, the stomach pain was gone. And my GP said I should just keep an eye on it for now. So it could all be fine. I’ll call the fertility clinic later to make an appointment. Still feeling hopeful

    Hi Marloes,

A bit of a late reply, but I haven't been on this forum for a while. Unfortunately, I had more bleeding. On the first two days of my holiday, no less I was in France at the time and couldn't stop by the midwife. I spent a week in suspense, but it didn't continue. I also had a clot and really thought the baby was gone. I felt really bad for a few days then. Gradually, I started feeling better and the bleeding didn't continue, so I'm assuming I'm still pregnant. I still have very sore breasts and they're still growing. I got back last Sunday but didn't call the midwife. Next Thursday I have to go in again and will get my intake and the second ultrasound. So it's quite nerve-wracking.

    How are you doing?

    Hi Lopje,

Oh, that's really tough to deal with on vacation! I totally understand why you didn't feel comfortable! I guess you've already been to the GP by now, right? How was the second ultrasound? Is everything still okay and has the baby stayed in a good position? I really hope so for you!

Everything's good with me. The little man is learning more and more, and he's really quite funny. He can also be very naughty and doesn't listen at all, hahaha! We've decided to wait until next year for a second child. First, we want to enjoy our new house and, especially, each other.

    Love,
    Marloes

I also had some bleeding last week.
It was quite a lot, like a full pad.
    Stopped in the evening.
Nothing the next day, and then old blood that looked brownish on the day after.
Had an ultrasound on Friday. You can't see the little one yet.
But my uterine lining was still thick enough.

I'm now testing every other day because it takes a while for hCG to leave your body.

    It's really nerve-wracking.
I was indeed quite upset too.
    You do get startled.
