Hi

My boyfriend and I have decided to start trying for kids.
I took out my Nuvaring on May 19th (I had been using it for 4 months) and got my period on May 21st.
I normally have a very regular cycle.

For the past week or so, I've had much larger and more sensitive breasts.
I was supposed to get my period on Saturday, June 18th, but it still hasn't arrived. However, since June 17th I've been having similar menstrual cramps. They come and go. Every day I think, "they'll be here tomorrow," but that's not the case.
I took a test yesterday (June 20th) but it was negative... I drink a lot of water and took the test only in the late afternoon. I don't know if this affects the test result.

Could I still be pregnant?
Or is this happening because I just stopped using the ring?

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

    Hi Soof,

    I think it’s a good idea to take another pregnancy test, but this time with first-morning urine, without having eaten or drunk anything beforehand. The hCG hormone is strongest then, and especially in early pregnancy, that’s important for getting a positive result.

    I don’t have any experience with Nuvarin myself, but it could also be that your period is delayed because of it. If that’s the case, there’s not much more you can do than wait.
