Hi Petra,
We were also looking for a double boys' name, but gave up. I think both names are really nice on their own, but together I find them (just like your partner) a bit too rhymey.
Greetings,
Cindy

I say let's do it, I think it sounds really nice!

    Hi Petra!
I think your daughter's name is great! Very original.
But honestly? Tijn Marijn? I’d be afraid my child would get bullied with that name.

My husband’s older son is named Jerry-Joey, with the nickname Jay or JJ (JayJay).

Hi Petra, I'd also go for 2 names that don't rhyme. Like with your little girl, very beautiful!

    Hi Petra,

I like both names a lot, but I think they rhyme too much when said together.
But do what you want, okay? You still have plenty of time to get used to them or come up with something else!

    Best, Dani

They do rhyme a bit, but I don't think it sounds bad. And you'll probably just call him Tijn anyway; on paper, the name Marijn will likely only appear. I think it sounds quite cheeky .

I'm not really into Marijn myself.. and I'd rather see Tijn with an h in between. So Thijn!

But Meis, just do what feels right to you! Everyone has an opinion about it anyway!
