6-day-old baby hasn't pooped anymore (breastfeeding)

If you're worried, just contact your maternity nurse or midwife. And if that doesn't help, your GP. No one will give you a strange look for it.

    It's definitely true that babies who are breastfed will eventually have a bowel movement pattern where going anywhere from 7 times a day to once a week is normal. I just don't know how that works at 6 days old.
    I'd also suggest asking your maternity care nurse or GP. You could also call the child health clinic.
