A bit of a weird question maybe, but when we've had sex, I naturally always lie down, definitely for half an hour, but sometimes I notice that when we've done it in the evening and I get up in the morning, the semen leaks out.
Is this normal and is there still a chance of conception?

Yeah, that's normal. Not all sperm will make it into your uterus, and the fluid that the sperm cells are in will naturally stay behind. If you put sperm in a jar, it first looks like (gross description) white, thick mucus, not like water, and after a while, it becomes more and more liquid. That's why the fluid leaks out in the morning after a night of making love.
Generally, there are more than enough soldiers in the mix. Even if half take the wrong turn to the wrong ovary, there are still plenty of candidates left. In the end, there's only one that can win???? -

What I do to keep the sperm from leaking out after sex is to put 2 or 3 pillows under your butt and stay lying like that for as long as possible. It might not be super comfortable, but you'll do anything to get pregnant, right?
