Confused?!

Hi girls,
I have another question. I've had symptoms for a few days that feel like pregnancy-related issues (cramps in the belly, hard lower abdomen, nausea). Today I had some bleeding (day 22 of my cycle), so it's way too early to be my period. During the bleeding, I didn't have severe cramps, and it stopped very quickly. I already tested yesterday, and it was negative. Is it too early, or is it more likely that I'll just get my period?

You might have tested too early; try again when you're 2 days overdue. But it could also be that your cycle is a bit early this time.

You're on day 22 of your cycle. A pregnancy test that's negative then is usually accurate. That bleeding doesn't sound like implantation bleeding, because that happens after conception and thus later on. Maybe it's just an early period after all. If you're unsure, give your GP or the family planning clinic a call for peace of mind.
