First time alone with the little one, how did it go?

Hi ladies

I have a question that has probably come up before, but I want to ask it anyway.
I gave birth to a beautiful daughter last Wednesday. My husband had 2 weeks off after the birth, but next week is the moment he goes back to work. I find the idea really scary and I wonder how you all experienced this? Do you have any tips ... Before I end up hanging on the phone every 5 minutes

Congrats again on the birth of your daughter
First time alone with the baby was nerve-wracking but you get used to it really quickly..
You have your instincts and they'll help you; you can keep your phone nearby but I think you won't need it.
Because I'm convinced you'll definitely be able to handle it..
Have fun and enjoy your little princess

Thanks for your reply It's so weird, you know how to do everything—making bottles, changing diapers, etc.—but the idea that I'll be alone soon still feels kind of scary.
But like you said, hopefully it'll get easier soon. It'll be fine.

Hi, I'll definitely do that! Wednesday will be the first day, so I'll let you know then.

A bit nerve-wracking, indeed, but honestly, I think the first time alone with the baby is even worse for a man ;-) Follow your gut, and if something doesn't work out right away, just try again. Stay calm and, if necessary, try something else. After a while, you'll know exactly what's in that manual that never comes with it. Yes you can!

And Bernice, how did it go last Wednesday

    Hi hi

A bit later than planned, but it actually went pretty well!
Unfortunately, she didn't want to sleep well during the day, so I had to keep comforting her and stuff. When my husband got back from work, she was naturally an angel, so I thought, what am I doing wrong! But now I'm completely used to it and it's easier to handle... I worried for nothing in hindsight, hihi
