Positive ovulation test during my period?

Who else has had this? I'm on my period right now. I tested yesterday to see if I was fertile, and yes, I was very fertile. I also did a pregnancy test and saw a faint line (see profile pic). How is this possible? Could I be pregnant because I don't feel well either?

    Hey Nijntje,

    Your story really resonates with mine. I'm not pregnant yet, but I'm definitely trying! I also have a very short menstrual cycle, about 16 days long. So if you had sex during your fertile window, I think you should have gotten pregnant by now. But it's possible to still get your period even if you are pregnant. For example, my fertile window is only 2 or 3 days after my period starts, so I could get pregnant and still get my period right after. What I'd suggest is taking a test when your period is due—that way you'll know for sure if you're pregnant or not.

    Hi there, mom-to-be! I should’ve actually finished my period by now, but I’m seeing red, dry blood when I wipe, and I’ve had a severe headache for a week now. I also feel like my temperature is higher.

    Hey Nijntje, that's weird. How long does your cycle usually last? Normally it's 9 days, but this time it was 7 days. If I were you, I'd take another test, but a cheap one so it doesn't cost too much.

    It could be that you have implantation bleeding with your period, but I'm not sure if that's possible. I hope for the best for you!

    For me, the bleeding stopped earlier, but now I have pink dry blood when wiping and I get a stabbing headache every afternoon that doesn't go away. It's very strange. I hope it's related to the pregnancy.

    I had Nijntje too during my period. Where did you buy your test? I also had a clear positive, but unfortunately, it wasn't so. The tests are unreliable. If they're the same ones, of course, show a picture

    I also have one of those testers. I always buy mine at Big Bazar, and the line was almost as dark as yours. I don’t know how to upload a photo here since I’m new.

    First upload your profile photo and then you can post in the message. Can it be that the tester meets from 10 hcg? I no longer trust this one alone. Action and Kruidvat, both are good. Hope for you that it really is a pregnancy.

    It's indeed a faint line, but try a test from Action or Kruidvat more reliable

    In the dark, that stripe is more visible than in the light, yes I'll quickly grab one from Action tomorrow.

    It's not a positive ovulation test if there's just one line. Unlike a pregnancy test.
    For an ovulation test, both lines need to be equally dark, and if both are equally dark then you're on your most fertile days, so one line means that the substance is present in your urine but be careful, the days before you get your ovulation, that line is as dark as the control line.

    Have you taken another test yet? If you're overdue, you can test at any time of the day.

    A light positive test and period can also indicate an early miscarriage.
