Hi everyone,

I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant and would really like to go on holiday to Turkey with my partner at the end of June. Just enjoy being together, all-inclusive style. Do you recommend this or not, and what should you keep in mind if you do go?

Besides the fact that I wouldn't want to be in Turkey (and any 'foreign country' haha) right now, I'd really look into the medical care and how accessible it is near your holiday destination. For example, is it safe to leave the resort to get to a hospital if it's an emergency? It shouldn't take an hour or so to drive there either.

Also, carefully check your health and travel insurance to see what is and isn't covered in case of any emergencies.

And make sure you have a pregnancy certificate from your midwife/gynecologist.

Oh, and don't forget to check with the airline if you're allowed to fly and let them know you're pregnant!

I’ve taken the dog out once or twice in sunny weather and immediately got that pregnancy mask. So now I’m sitting in the shade with SPF 50 and a sun hat when it’s nice outside. Not everyone here has this issue, but soon you might be stuck there unable to sunbathe.
