Help! Hormones?!

I don't know if it's my hormones, but I'd like to let my heart out for a moment. For all the ladies who also want to let their hearts out or respond to this, here you go!

Happy 1st Mother's Day... (the little one isn't here yet, but I already feel like a mom. After all, I'm already taking care of her..)
It's so nice to feel like you're worthless again..
And how wonderful it is to feel that someone loves you, that the smallest gestures make you feel important to someone, and not just someone who is handy around the house and good for having a child.
It's actually sad that it's too much effort for someone to simply make you a peanut butter sandwich out of nowhere, just out of care and to show effort to the person they love. How do you let someone know that you love them? It's never said..
The saddest part is that I would be happy just from that one sandwich, or even from such an ugly dandelion you'd pick from the garden. Just the idea that someone is thinking of you, that one small gesture that feels so big, that gives you those butterflies from before. A tiny bit of creativity to make me happy and surprise me. I'm such a fool... only trying to let him know how much I love him. Purely because I love him and am afraid of losing him. Afraid because he doesn't show that he loves me..
Maybe I'm only making it worse by walking on eggshells, showing too much despair to him. Maybe I'm suffocating him and pushing him away. Maybe I just don't see it, maybe he just doesn't see that it hurts me.
Maybe, maybe..
Maybe I'm overthinking. Maybe I'm just weird.
Maybe I'm indeed just worthless..

    Wow, what a message!!
If it helps, sometimes I feel like that too, and I'm not even pregnant yet.. But I really hope you'll start feeling better, talk to him! Usually I get grumpy and start yelling or say nothing at all. But I've noticed that if you just talk calmly and listen, it gets a bit better. Not that you see a huge change right away, but little by little he sees that it can be different.
They're still men, they never know what to do either and get angry when we're grumpy..

Anyway, you are truly super valuable, and you should really be proud of yourself. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Keep your chin up and stay strong! It's really going to be okay

If he really tells you so little and shows you so little that he loves you, then first and foremost, make sure you love yourself!

You have to believe that you are worth it. You deserve to be here, and you are special.
You're going to be someone's mom soon. That person will always need you and rely on you.

Take care of yourself. I recommend talking to a psychologist (I did that myself for years, and it helped me a lot). He/she can give you tools to learn to love yourself. That way, you'll stand firmer on your own feet and won't depend on someone else's approval to feel good enough.

Men even find it attractive when a woman has self-confidence, so it might even have an effect on that.
But first and foremost, you need to learn to love yourself to feel better about yourself. You deserve that. And your baby deserves that too.

    You are worth it
