Oh my, that's quite rare! Is this in the family?
Congratulations in advance! !
Hopefully, at the end of the journey, you'll have 3 healthy, adorable kids.
Hold on tight to the tree branches, hehe .

Woehahaha!!! You managed it 3 times in one go!!
Is your happiness 3 times as big!!
You probably also thought: "No no, I'm just dreaming, I'll wake up soon and then I'll laugh hard about it!!"
How nice if they become 3 best friends soon! 3 times as much mischief promised!
Eh yes, congratulations to me 3 times too!

    Hi Bernadette,
A triplet is awesome, wow. That's so special and just pure nature.
I don't want to scare you, but you're going to get incredibly busy, though you've probably already thought of that yourself. You'll need help, especially in the beginning. My sister had twins (they're 4 now), but I was there for the beginning (when they were just born) and helped out a lot. I know my sister was incredibly tired back then. That's natural for every mother in the beginning because a baby is quite a handful. I should mention though,
her kids are 4 now, they go to school and my sister suddenly has her hands free all day!! Of course, you're still busy, but it's different.
When they're babies, you have to change diapers, feed them, lift them up, get out of bed at night, watch closely so they don't put things in their mouths when they're crawling, and when they're older, they do all that themselves. (You still have to prepare the food, ha ha ha) but you get what I mean. There are so many mothers who have a 4-year-old and are pregnant again. So you're basically at home with a baby/toddler for 8 years. Then suddenly you're 'done' and have 3 beautiful children around you.
What was very important for my sister and her husband, and is important anyway but especially with 3, is being consistent. Having rules, routine, and 'no' means no. Because you can't afford to have three kids running around turning everything upside down when they're 1, 2, or 3. Discipline is incredibly important and maybe keep the leash a bit shorter, because if you give them one finger, they grab both hands and even your feet, especially with twins or triplets. At least, that's what I've seen, but it's different for everyone.
My sister put them to bed every evening at 7 or half past 7, with a bath beforehand (always!!!) and reading a book, every night, so they know it's time to calm down. No whining, just to bed. Even when she went to give them a bottle at night (if they signaled they were awake), she went to their room, took them out of bed, kept the light off, didn't talk, did things softly, gave the bottle, a cuddle and a kiss, and put them back in bed. No lamps on. That's how my sister built a very clear rhythm and routine. I have friends whose child is now 2.5 and who has been used from the start to sleeping in mama's bed when he cries. Now he's 2.5 and they can't get him into his own bed anymore, he's a very difficult sleeper and refuses to lie down in his own bed. Well... that's nice, she has to get up to go to work the next day. ......sorry for the long story, good luck and enjoy it!!! A wonderful gift!!!! And destined for you, otherwise it wouldn't have happened to you!!!!

Wow, I had the same experience today!
Had my first ultrasound today and turns out it’s a triplet!!! We were so shocked on one side, happy but on the other hand, no idea what we should do!
  8. irma Guest #9

so that is indeed quite a shock and also a weird idea, isn't it?
how do you handle being full-term and all, that's exciting, right? treat yourself well, when are you due? toitoitoi, you want to know if it's going to be a boy or girl? and come up with 3 names, hehe
  9. Nienke Guest #10

    Congratulations!!

Our neighbors have natural triplets! They're 12 now, and it's totally manageable. They did have a lot of structure in the beginning to keep things organized and maintain some peace. But otherwise, it's really fun and cozy!
  10. Kelly #11

Wow! Congratulations! That must feel so special! And your first pregnancy? Hihi, you've got 2 kids already running around. Are you going to keep us updated here from time to time because this is really special! Good luck!
  11. mandy Guest #12

But huge congratulations on this miracle! Enjoy all the attention :-)
  12. *m #13

    3 times double congratulations!
What a miracle, isn't it, that all that can happen..
    Are these your first babies?
I can totally imagine that you're still not quite processing it yet, going from the idea of 1 baby to 3..super!
    Enjoy it!

    Love

    Woohoo!
    Congratulations!
We're expecting identical twins, so you totally get it!
    -1 baby then hahaha

    They're due in October.
    Week 36, and you?
  14. Daylee #15

    Hi!
We’re 31 weeks pregnant now and it’s really getting heavier as the pregnancy progresses.
I don’t even want to know what it’s like having 3 little ones in your belly!
Do you know yet if all three are identical or different?
How far along are you exactly?
    Best, Daylee

    Good evening.
Congratulations on your triplet! We're in the same situation. Last week, we found out that we're having triplets too.
Have you gotten a lot of tips yet? We're also still figuring things out.
  16. flipje #17

    Wow congratulations!!
  17. wensje #18

We already have one daughter, who’s 4. After 4 years, I thought maybe she’d be really nice as a second child! We got pregnant on the first try, and to our surprise, it’s twins!! The first multiples in our family... and suddenly I’m quite worried about having 3 kids!! But after hearing both heartbeats, I could only think, wow, my babies...
  18. Charissa #19

Wow, congratulations!!!!! A triplet pregnancy must be quite a shock. I had twins... Be glad that they're already seeing them so soon. With my mom, they didn't find out until 30 weeks; there was nothing else to do back then! You can at least start preparing now It has its ups and downs... Do you know the gender yet? You're definitely ready x
