Matz, Mathieu, Wander, Stijn, Jordann, or Jesse

Pregnant with baby boy #3 My partner and I have a 7-letter name, and the other two boys do too. We started looking for a 7-letter name but didn't find any nice ones (the names on our list were: Mathieu and Wander).

Now I suddenly really like the name Matz. Not 7 letters, but sweet and cool. What do you think..?

Questions: who has another sweet and cool name with 7 letters, and what do you think of the name Matz?

    That's my little brother's name I think it's definitely a nice name. I was already thinking of Thijs as a middle name. Then it would be Matz Thijs.

    I'm someone who would stubbornly stick to traditions..
    All seven letters? Then the third one too.

    Maybe you could use Matz as a nickname? But a seven-letter name as the full first name.

    I think Matz is really nice for a child and a bit cheeky. But as an adult man, it feels a bit less fitting. So then a seven-letter name could be a great option for when they're older

    Mathieu as the first name, with Matz as the nickname.

    I think Wander is quite nice. It's something different. Jesse (Dutch pronunciation) is also fine.

    I find Matz too hip/Amsterdam South, and Matz Thijs is definitely not a nice combination.

    I think Jordann is the most beautiful.
    Especially when pronounced in Dutch.
    And personally, I find Stijn the least appealing.

    Jordan is an American girl's name. The double nn doesn't stand for anything (at least not for me). (But it does give a 7-letter name.)
    Wander I personally find very ugly ; with 6 letters...?) Mats or Matz are really nice. My son is just called Joep, no fuss. Nice names with 7 letters (if that's important to you): Thobias, Olivier, Servaas, Martijn.

    Matz / Mats is leading. I'm not familiar with any other nickname besides the official name, which I find personally a bit tricky sometimes? (passport, work email). I'll look into how it works exactly.

    Mel, my name is officially Marlies. Everyone calls me Lies.

    I know someone named Bernd, but uses his second name as a first name: Terry.
    His work email is also [email protected]
    My work email was also [email protected] there.

    It's just what you indicate at work and what is used there.
    At my next employer, I preferred to be called Marlies. That was also implemented in my email address.
