Implantation or period?

So now I'm going to put my question to you after all.

I stopped the pill in October and got my first period in early December. The first month was irregular, but after that I had a cycle of around 32/33 days.

My last period started on March 16, which would mean my ovulation would be around April 2/3/4. I checked this with ovulation tests (dipstick) and the peak indeed fell exactly within these 3 days. We had sex on March 28 (with ejaculation) and the following days as well, except my boyfriend didn't finish inside.

Now, since April 7 I've suddenly gotten a bladder infection (never had one before) and since April 10 I've suddenly had brownish bleeding (which I still have). It's much less than my normal period though; it's basically only visible when wiping, there's hardly anything in my underwear!

So this is a week before I actually expected my period.
Besides that, I've had a nagging feeling in my stomach all the time, but I can't really compare it to period pain. At work I measured my temperature and it's 0.8 higher than normal.

Now my question is. Could this be implantation bleeding? And is it normal for it to last for a few days? Or am I fooling myself and is it just an early period? Despite the fact that the ovulation tests were positive a week before the bleeding?

I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative, but it's of course still very early.

Hope people with the same experience can help me out a bit, I find it all so exciting!

    I actually think it's a sign of your period coming. I get that sometimes too, but not always...
    I also kept hoping it was implantation bleeding. And I was really scared it might be something serious, but my doctor says a little bit of brown blood doesn't have to be a problem. That's old blood.

    If I got pain during sex, I was told to come back.

    Marlies, you were right! After 4 days of a little brown discharge when wiping, my period started last Thursday! Since I'm already on my second round of an antibiotic course, my body might have been a bit thrown off by the doctor's advice. It did make me a bit anxious about those 4 days of brown discharge, and this cycle is much shorter than the rest, but now I'm feeling positive again and looking forward to May

    Hi!
    I have a question.
    My first day of my last period was 04/04/2016, my ovulation was on 14/04/2016, and on Thursday 21/04/2016 I had some pink discharge. Could this be a sign of early pregnancy?

    Hi,
    I probably ovulated on April 12th and have had brown spotting since April 14th. Unfortunately, I’m still experiencing it after 12 days!! It’s making me really unsure, and there are no other signs of pregnancy or a period yet. Over the past 3 months, I’ve also had brown spotting before my period, but it always lasted 8 days or less. My cycle is usually between 28 and 31 days.
    Has anyone here experienced this?

    I'm in my period week now, but I can't really talk about a period—it's more like brown discharge. One day it's darker/worse than the last, and it's been like this for 5 days now. Exactly the time when I should be getting my period.

    I stopped the pill in September 2015. For a few months, everything was fairly normal—periods on time, etc. But lately, I've noticed my period lasts longer than usual, and this lighter bleeding is new. Last week I also had some nausea and headaches that came and went. My blood pressure is also quite high again, despite the medication I'm taking for it. The doctor already advised me to get blood tests then, but I wanted to wait a bit.

    Can implantation bleeding happen during your period week?
