pregnant without knowing?

Hi hi,

I just got quite startled and don't really know what to do with this. I hope you guys can help me out a bit / want to give advice / can give some guidance.

I always take my pill properly, and because we went away for a weekend with my husband, I skipped the pill-free week and kept taking them. However, since last night I've had some bleeding when wiping (sorry for the details), even though I'm just taking my regular pills. I didn't think much of it... there was some cramping too, but I always get that during my period. I just went to the toilet and saw something on my pad, and I really don't know what to make of it... it's about 3 cm long, quite tough/gelatinous, dark red, but also with some whitish/translucent bits.

    Hi,

What do you think yourself? It sounds a bit like an early miscarriage, but you can't be sure of course.

Did you take a picture of it? Otherwise, show it to a doctor or midwife and ask what they think.

If it's a miscarriage and you still want to know, you can quickly take another pregnancy test; it will most likely still show pregnant (e.g., Action test, good and cheap).

    Yes, that's a good one!

    Thanks for your quick reply!!
The test is indeed a good idea! Could that work tomorrow afternoon too? Or would it be too late by then? There's no Action within walking distance here (hubby has the car).

    Thanks again!

    Love

Kruidvat has 2 tests for 5 euros, those are good too.
Do it as soon as possible.

I’ve had that too. I’d get breakthrough bleeding. Really messy cleanup, so it was pretty gross. Later on, I found out my pill wasn’t working that well either.
I often had breakthrough bleeding while I was on the pill.
