Tummy ache

I'm looking for experiences regarding the following, so I can figure out if I should see a doctor or if it's possibly a normal occurrence.
We've only been trying for a little while, so I don't think I'm pregnant yet. For a few days now, I've had pain in the ovary area, starting with sharp stabbing on one side but now on both sides. It's a bit nagging but quite intense. Does anyone recognize this?
The main issue is that a few months ago I had a hormonal imbalance with strange symptoms, so I no longer trust my body.
I'm currently 6 days before my period. Other symptoms: sore nipples, episodes of extreme fatigue (yawning, yawping), nausea, diarrhea for several days, and almost no appetite.
