Can I already be pregnant?

Hi ladies,
I'm 23 and have been on the pill for 6 years. My partner and I have decided we really want a baby... I stopped taking my pill when I finished my current pack, but I haven't gotten my period yet, so I don't know my menstrual cycle or my fertile days. I've done a lot of Googling for tips though!
My question is: I'm 1 week late and I'm feeling nauseous, tired, have sore breasts, and back pain! (Before I started the pill, I always had my period every 4 weeks.) I just took a test, but unfortunately, it was negative. What should I do?

After you stop taking the pill, your cycle can be a bit off. It can take a few weeks to months for it to return to normal. If I were you, I’d just wait for your period to come, and if it doesn’t, test again in a week or so.
