2.5 years and then I got pregnant... Don't worry, your body needs time if you've just stopped the pill. For some it takes a bit longer than for others. For me it took really long, I thought... but well, now 24 weeks pregnant
Good luck, don't stress about it. The moment we weren't really thinking about it, I suddenly was pregnant!!! My boyfriend actually brought it up, because I suddenly had eczema all over... "Hmm darling, could you maybe be pregnant?"
Good luck and it'll be fine!
Not trying to be disrespectful or anything, but don't complain about a few months. If you look further on this forum, there are women who have been trying for over 3 years. We ourselves took 2.5 years, with a combination of hormone treatments and IUI. We're now happily 25.5 weeks pregnant. So come back in about a year or so, then you'll get some sympathy.
For everyone who wants to become a mother, every negative test is absolutely heartbreaking, and every month that fails is a disappointment too... Just because some ladies take longer to get pregnant doesn't mean Kim doesn't have the right to her feelings... You can't dismiss that.
Kim, getting pregnant just takes time. Not everyone is blessed with "it sticks the first time" or getting pregnant within half a year. Your body needs to get its hormone balance right, and then you have to time it perfectly (I only found out later that I have a late ovulation, so I was always doing the deed on the wrong days with my partner). Give it time, and it will definitely happen. Right now, it's about perseverance so that you can say later, "It worked!!" whether that's after 9 months, or only after 1.5 years, or maybe even longer...
