I took a pregnancy test last night and I see a very faint line?
I should be getting my period today, but nothing yet.

Feeling a bit unsure

    Hi MamaVan

    If you read the test within a few minutes, just like in your profile picture, this is definitely a positive test!

    Often, a faint line can appear within a few hours even if the test initially showed negative.

    I'd suggest taking another test in 2 or 3 days.
    It takes about 2 days for the hCG levels to double...

    Exciting, but it looks promising so far!!

    We've been trying for almost 3 years now.
    I took the test on Sunday evening.. I was supposed to get my period on Monday.
    I'm going to take another test tomorrow..
    I've never had a very faint line before, I mean I've taken enough tests and they always showed clear white, I've never had a really faint line, so to say...

    I hardly dare to hope.. but I hope to hold a test in my hands soon with 2 thicker lines

    3 years is a long time, that makes it extra exciting... How old are you if I may ask? Do you already have children? This is my first baby, I'm 29.
    You already have insomnia anyway, if you're pregnant haha! I'm suddenly awake now too. This is the only symptom I've had non-stop since week 5, the rest varied.
    Good luck with the follow-up tests!

    That's lovely. That's really a positive test. It must be exciting after waiting so long. We've also had one for 7.5 years, and now finally pregnant with a second one????

    I just did a + test

    And a light blue cross appeared

    Unfortunately no bright test yet..

    Yesterday I was supposed to get my period
    But nothing yet... Fortunately! There's still hope

    Hi mom of.
    I would keep using the same tests as I did when I was pregnant, that way you can clearly see the difference. The Plus test was lighter for me than the Kruidvat cassette, and the Action one was also a bit lighter than the Kruidvat, but better than the Plus test. I kept going with always using the same test.

    Yeah, I wanted to buy 2 for 5 euros, but they were sold out...
    Hence the + test 2 for 10 euros.

    Good tip from Flipje. I've always used the Action tests. Definitely worth it for that price, 2 for 1.70, very satisfied. I even tested positive 10 days after ovulation.

    But you really seem to be pregnant!! Congratulations!

    It's a positive test. If you're just past your due date, you should wait a few days before testing again.
    I had a negative test on Oct 6 (couldn't see any line) and on Oct 9 this test was faintly positive, and on the 11th it was clearly positive. In those first few days, your hCG hormone levels are still low, so not all tests can detect it. Now I'm 28 weeks pregnant...
