We're looking for a tough, unique boy's name that goes well with our daughter's name, Lou.

    Nice name, Lou!

    With Dez, I associate it with daughters named Des.
    I like James and Lennox the most. Lou and Lenn / Lux feel a bit too much like Jut & Jul.

    Thanks for the replies! Yes, I’m also wondering if Lux and Lenn sound too much like Jut and Jul when combined with Lou. Dex is a name you hear a lot these days, which is why we were thinking of Dez.

    Dez -> not so beautiful, looks a bit crafty to me. James -> super name! Nice, tough, but also a name of class.
    Lenn -> nice, but a bit simple compared to the other names.
    Lux -> no, not my taste.
    Lennox -> also not my taste.
