Second-guessing baby names again right before the due date

And right before the due date (I'm having a C-section on April 5th), the doubts about the name hit me.
So I'd really love your opinion, which name do you like best and why?

My son is named Daan, a name high in the top ten, but I still think it's a really nice name.

Now we're having a daughter and we think Eva is very beautiful... But it's also a top ten name again.
So I'm now wondering if it might become a bit too boring.

What I also think are very beautiful names are: Nina and Sylvie

What do you think is the most beautiful and why? Eva, Nina or Sylvie

I think Daan and Eva are super cute. Aren't you afraid you'll regret it if you switch now?

I also think Nina is very beautiful, but I wouldn't let myself be guided by the popularity of a name.

Sylvie is absolutely not my taste. I don't think it's a name for these days. Sorry

Eva! Always thought it was a beautiful name. Also nice with Daan.
I think Saar is a nice name with Daan too, but the baby probably wants to be called Eva if that's been on your minds for so long ;-)

K003 Thanks for your opinion... I also think Daan and Eva sound super nice.. But I was wondering if it's not too boring.. Well, I'm definitely not into super trendy names either, but Nina and Sylvie are a bit less common.. Maybe I shouldn't let that influence me too much because, indeed, Eva is just a really nice name

Thanks for your opinion, Ella. You're right, Eva has been on our minds for ages...
My husband also suggested Eline, but I find Eva a bit more powerful.
Saar is nice, but I prefer slightly sweeter names for a girl..

    Thanks everyone..
I just asked my husband to make the final decision and he likes Eva better than Nina

Eva!! Always thought it was such a great name, but my husband didn't.
    Beautiful and timeless!
Sylvie is from when I was young myself (I'm 34 now ;-)
Nina is also nice but less so than Eva..
    Eva!!!!

I think Eva fits best with Daan.

Haha Julie, I didn’t know at all that Sylvie is from that era (I’m 33 myself). Eva is also from ages ago, but very timeless..

I think Nina is nice and fits well.
    But follow your gut feeling.

Yeah, I’d also go for Eva or Eline.
I think Nina looks less beautiful on an adult woman and more suited for a child.
Sylvie doesn’t feel like it fits well with Daan, and it’s also the least beautiful of these names to me.
    Yeah, good choice, Eva!

Yes, Eline is also an option, my husband thinks it's really nice too..
That name isn't in the top ten.. Difficult, Eva or Eline...
I also thought about Feline for a while but my husband likes Eline or Eva better.
We talked about it this afternoon, Nina is out for him

I think Nina is a lovely, lively name! For a cheerful girl, I'd say. That's the kind of vibe I get from the name Nina.

Sylvie is such a stylish name! Also incredibly beautiful.

Sorry, personally I'd never choose Eva.

Eva is really too much of a good thing for me. I can see why you're torn between Eva and Eline, but I'd really go for Eline. It's a bit calmer and fits better with Daan. Eline also feels just a bit more polished and timeless. Eva is so incredibly popular that it's almost annoying. Go with your heart, but I can definitely recommend skipping Eva.
