not on my period, not pregnant

Hi!

I stopped taking the pill in December, and my period came on February 16th. Now, this month I haven't gotten my period yet. I do have some little twinges down low in my tummy, but I'm now a week late.

I took a test this morning, but unfortunately, it was negative.

What should I do now?

There's nothing else you can do but wait, unfortunately. Maybe your cycle was a bit longer this time? You can test again in a few days if you haven't gotten your period yet?

    Hi ladies!
I'm in the same boat. I really want to get pregnant. We've been trying for 1.5 years now... Had one miscarriage... Since then, no more pregnancies counted..
Now my cycle is regular, 28-29 days.. Based on 29 days, I'm now 4 days late.. Did a test yesterday afternoon.. Negative.. Did another test this afternoon.. Again negative. But I do have the feeling that I'm pregnant..
I'd love to hear from you if you've experienced this and how it turned out for you.

    Xx

I'm already 7 days late and have had negative tests.
I'm caught up in the medical system and know that I ovulated.
What turned out this morning at the hospital is that I have a cyst.
This is why I haven't gotten my period.
So I've taken pills to induce my period, and hopefully, I can continue with the process afterward.
I hope that despite everything, a pregnancy will still come out of it.
    Good luck!

    Hi Lucky!
Thanks for your reply! Although it does worry me a bit. Still a negative test but no period either.. I don't understand anything anymore.

    Hi Lucky!
It's good that you're reporting it! I've been in contact with the GP, who says I should keep an eye on it for another two weeks... It could be that the hCG levels are still too low...

So, we'll see what happens next.

    Good job

Hope you get some good news soon

    Hey lucky!
Yeah, I hope so too, but otherwise things are good.. I'm about to enter the medical whirlwind. Coincidentally, I have the intake for that tomorrow!
How long have you been in the whirlwind already? Pretty heavy, isn't it?

My previous reply was lucky. Turns out I wasn't logged in...

Are you pregnant now? Or do you have no idea yet? I'm kind of in the same situation as you... ????
Stopped the pill in February, got my period on day 4, then got it again after 23 days. Now on day 25 and still no period.

I've had stabbing pains, persistent pain, lower back pain, and nausea at random times.
I don't know what to make of it.

    Hi Joske,
I'm now 5 days overdue. Sore nipples and some mild cramps. However, the tests are negative. I called the gynecologist and have to wait another 5 days. So no idea if I'm pregnant after all... I really hope so, I've wanted it for so long...
But well, it's possible that my body produces hCG slowly... I just spoke to my mom and she said that was the case for her too.
But well, lots of uncertainty here... I'm afraid it might go wrong again. But well, we'll just have to wait and see.

    Have you tested yet, Joske?

    Xx

Yeah, I took a test yesterday too, but it was negative. It’s tough, right? You hope for one thing. But if you hope too much...
  13. Waterpoloster #14

    Yes, so true, Joske!
It's so frustrating.. And you feel all sorts of things. But my boyfriend keeps saying.. As long as you don't get your period, it's fine.. He's such a sensible guy. Haha, lovely. That keeps me going a bit.. And it is what it is.. What he says makes sense.

Hope to hear from you soon xx

    Oh Joske!

Yeah, it's definitely a long wait until next week! I happen to have an appointment at the fertility department at the hospital tomorrow, so I'll see what they can do. She said it's probably still too early since I'm 6 days late.

But we'll see what they tell me tomorrow!

I'll keep you posted, of course

    Best,

    Thank you

They can't see anything that early, that's true.
But they can check if there's a cyst.
And  blood tests for hCG and progesterone.
    I did that today.

I've been in the medical cycle since October 2015 and have already had 3 IUIs.

Had heartburn for the last 3 days too. Even though I haven't had it in years!

    Hi,
I got my IUD inserted in early February. I had issues with it for a week. Then on the 26th I got my period like I was supposed to. Now I've been nauseous for a week, really tired, and my breasts are very sore. Last week I lost a little bit of blood, just one drop. I hadn't really thought about being pregnant because the chance is so small, but I didn't feel well so I started to doubt. Today I took a test and it was negative, but I still have those symptoms. I had the same symptoms when I was pregnant with my daughter, but then my test was clearly positive. Though I was pregnant while on the pill. Does anyone have tips or experience with this?
Thanks a lot in advance! Greetings

Waterpolo player, hopefully you have a bit more clarity today?

I took another test and it's negative again. My period still hasn't come.
