Gonal F 37.5 experiences???

Hi everyone,

Got Gonal F 37.5 on prescription from my gynecologist today because after half a year of Clomid, nothing happened. I could have chosen to use Clomid for another 3 months, but I decided to try something else instead since I wanted to give it a go.

Has anyone here had experience with Gonal F? And how about side effects etc.?

    Not with Gonal-F, but with Puregon. It's the same product, just from a different manufacturer and a different method of administration. Gonal-F is a separate syringe, I think, and with Puregon you use an injection pen.

    I found it a huge relief compared to Clomid in terms of side effects!!! I was grumpy and really down with Clomid, but I didn't have that with Puregon; I had no problems at all! Clomid didn't work for me at all; with Puregon, I got pregnant with a dosage between 100 and 125 units. I got pregnant twice using this.

    Gonal F used during the ICSI process. Didn't have any unpleasant side effects. I found Clomid absolutely terrible!

    Yeah, I also found Clomid absolutely terrible!! I’m now only using Gonal-F without anything else added. I’ve been using it for 3 days now and it’s going well. How long did it take for you to get pregnant?

    I used Gonal F during my IVF treatment and found it easy to use and easy to inject (syringe 187.5 IU).

    With ICSI, I was lucky to get pregnant the first time. We had already been trying for over 3 years. The issue turned out to be with my partner. Unfortunately, they didn't want to look into it earlier...
