When can I test?

Hi everyone!

I stopped the pill in mid-2015. However, I only started tracking my cycles from early December.
They've been like this: 26-23-29.
Now I'm on cycle day 25 and 10 or 11 dpo.
This afternoon I had some pink discharge on my toilet paper and a sharp stab in my lower belly.

When can I take a pregnancy test? I'm not sure if I should assume a 28-day cycle now.

    Hi hi.
    I don’t have a super deep understanding of all the calculations and stuff, but what I often read is that if you have an irregular cycle, you should base it on your longest cycle and then only test after that.
    Hope my advice helps you out a bit..

    I'll stick with the longest cycle of 29 days. Just woke up with pretty bad period cramps, but nothing yet. We'll just wait and see, I'm on day 26 now.

    Just got off the toilet, had some brown discharge on the toilet paper. But no more cramps. Probably nothing this month, onward to the next round I guess..

    I’d also go with the longer one, but a little bit of old brown blood loss doesn’t mean anything, really... I had that with my first on the day I was supposed to get my period, and it didn’t turn into anything. I even had cramps, so I really thought I was going to get my period. But no, I was just pregnant...

    I’d say test again in 3 days if nothing else happens...

    I hope nothing else comes up. If it doesn't continue, I'll take a test on day 29.

    Yeah, only today! Cycle of 29 days, just like last time. It was a bit nerve-wracking because yesterday I couldn't find anything when wiping, but today unfortunately lots of bright red blood.

    28 days, I mean, so day 29 is now, so day 1 of the new cycle.

    Hi everyone,

    I have a question and I hope you might have an answer.
    I stopped the pill on 25-01-2016.
    I had withdrawal bleeding from 02-02-2016 until 06-02-2016.
    On 06-03-2016 I got my first period; my next period was due on 03-04-2016.
    After that, we had sex often, also during my fertile days and during ovulation which I felt on 20-03-2016.

    For the past 2 days, I've had quite painful/sensitive breasts, and they've become softer and slightly larger. I also have a lot of stomach pain, which feels like cramps.
    I've decided to take a test.
    I bought the Sensitest, 6 days before my expected period. Are these reliable? According to Sensitest, I could test on 30-03-2016.
    Last Friday I did a Kruidvat test and it was negative.
