How does ovutest work?

We stopped taking the pill earlier this month to try for our first little one
So I have no idea how long my cycle is and was curious about when my ovulation would be. So I bought ovulation tests this morning and of course did one right away. Well, a faint line appeared, does that mean my ovulation is approaching? Or is there always a faint line? I had the ovulation tests from the Action.
Thanks in advance

If everything goes well, there should be a description included with your ovulation test explaining how it works. The one I had worked with two lines—if the test line was as dark or darker than the control line, it meant ovulation was coming within about 48 hours. As long as the test line was lighter or not present, no ovulation was imminent.

    Good afternoon!
We (I) stopped taking the pill at the end of August and are going to start using ovulation tests this month. (from the sensitive test to the dipstick) Exciting. Tested yesterday evening... a very faint test line, but I didn't expect anything different. It's only day 4 of my cycle. At least we know how it works now... Normally, my cycle is between 32 and 36 days. Hopefully, we'll get a better understanding now, and won't have to use them for too long

    Hi Anne87

That's exciting for you too! I use the tests from Action. I have no idea how long my cycle is, wanted to see if I could find out now how my cycle is, but no result yet... My official due date is April 7th. And yours?

I have an average cycle of 36 days. March 28 was day 1 of a new cycle. But since I don't 'feel' anything, I don't know when my ovulation is. So I'll just test every day, and the test line will turn color twice a day? I really need to figure it out haha... But then my due date would be May 3? Last time I was 1.5 weeks late.. but unfortunately.. that's quite disappointing, huh! April 7.. that's coming up soon. So exciting!!
