Pregnant or not?

Hi everyone,

I've been having some vague symptoms lately and went to the doctor, who said everything points to pregnancy. I did a test tonight with first morning urine, but I was just curious. I see a faint line and more people, but I'm still unsure and want to hear what you all see. As it stands now, I'm 5 days before my period.

    I see a line anyway, so I'd say congratulations, and test again tomorrow.

    Hey ladies,

    I do see very faint lines on the tests, Kim, but they're so faint that it's still in a very early and fragile stage. But it does look like something is going on! I'm crossing my fingers for you that everything goes well!

    I just got this test in my hands, what do you all think? I'm also about 5 weeks pregnant now. Not sure because I had a miscarriage in early February and haven't had a period since. Ovulation was 1.5 weeks ago on Friday...

    Hi Nathalie, it does indeed look very promising!
    I took another test today and there was a line again, but it was very faint.
    I'll test again tomorrow, but this time with first morning urine.

    But anyway, you really need to see a clear "yes" line to know if I'm pregnant, or is the test misleading? I'm so unsure about this.

    I'll definitely show it!
    I've now tested twice with Big Bazar tests and both were light positive, and tomorrow I'll do one from Action, and if my period doesn't come, I'll have 3 Clearblue tests!! So we'll see!!

    I did another test and there were two faint lines again, but unfortunately, I have bleeding today, so I think it's my period.
    I wish you all success and hope for quick positive pregnancy tests!

    Hey Kim, oh shit! Blood is the last thing you want to see right now! But is it a lot that really requires a tampon, or is it less? Don't give up hope though, because if you have two lines, there's a baby in there! But the uterus is also very well-supplied with blood right now, so it could also be a late implantation bleed or a burst blood vessel. I'd say... keep testing for the next few days and don't use a tampon (just in case it is still a pregnancy!)

    I tested again today and the line is getting a bit darker but it's not popping off yet. Posting a photo below. I don't have any discomfort anywhere except for lots of burping and very restless dreams/sleep.

    Hang in there, girl, and don't give up hope for this round. If it is your period after all, your uterine lining is already thickened for next month, so you'll have a (slightly bigger) chance again!

    It's probably, and unfortunately, a miscarriage...
    This is my second time, so I'm on the phone right now trying to get in touch with my GP.
    At first I was wondering if it was really a miscarriage because I thought I was just having my period, but I got two clear lines on both tests, so that's why I'm calling.
    I'll keep you posted.

    It's so nice to hear that you're doing well now. I hope you have a beautiful baby! I'm rooting for you!
