Matching with big sister named Lonne!
(The list of names is luckily getting a lot shorter, but now there are still 2 names left.. Which one fits best with Lonne?)

I think both are great! What you could do is hang a few notes around the house with each name on them, separately from each other. You'll naturally walk past them a few times next week, and I think you'll start to see which name you prefer.

Personally, I think Maud is a nicer name, but I like Nieke better and it sounds nicer with Lonne. This is also because both Lonne and Nieke are unique, whereas Maud is heard much more often. So I would choose Nieke.

Maud is more beautiful, but Nieke fits better

Nieke! Really beautiful and not so common, just like Lonne. Same style as Lonne. I don't find Maud so beautiful anyway.

We both say the names regularly and write them down. Even our little girl can pronounce both well, which is pretty funny. Luckily, we still have a bit more time, but it's tough haha! Thanks for voting!

Have you all already decided? (For those who are pregnant)

(Strange that this group was created under the name GUEST while I'm just a 'member'.)

I voted for Maud because I personally don't like it when both names end in an -e..
We're still not decided either, but we've got 22 weeks left Good luck!

    I know a Lonne, a Maud and a Nieke.
I had trouble with the name Nieke, and honestly, I still do.
Back then it seemed like a forced reference to a family member named Niek.
I also know Nynke (Nienke), and I think it's a better alternative (even if you want to name after Niek).

That said, I think Nieke and Lonne go really cute together with the e at the end.
Maud sounds a bit tougher than Lonne. M

I think Lonne and Maud flow better than Lonne and Nieke. I think it's because both end in an 'e', which I personally find less nice.

Maud Stoerder is cuter and more unique than Nieke. It also ends in -e. We don't really have a problem with that.. Thanks for the tips!!

Nieke! (or maybe Maudy instead of Maud?)
