Tested negative

My partner and I spent a long time trying to get pregnant, but it never worked out.. For medical reasons, I'm not allowed to get pregnant in the coming months, so I stopped trying.. And now, suddenly, I'm a week late. I have splitting headaches every day and feel as lazy as can be.. My family thinks I'm pregnant because I've been moody.. Normally, I don't have any symptoms before my period.. I also sometimes feel sharp pains in my breasts. So I took a test today, but it was negative.. No faint line visible at all..
